Tristan Wirfs - Could avoid surgery Wirfs (ankle) could avoid offseason surgery, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports. Impact Wirfs initially was expected to require surgery on an ankle injury that he sustained during the Buccaneers' wild-card win over the Eagles, but he'll test out other treatment options before undergoing a potential procedure. The 23-year-old will wear a boot for about a month and receive PRP treatments in an attempt to recover. Regardless of whether the right tackle ultimately has surgery, he's expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
