The offense largely remained stuck in the mud for a good chunk of the second half as well, but Brady and his teammates gave the Tampa faithful one final thrill in the team's title-defense season when he connected on a 55-yard touchdown pass to Mike Evans with 3:20 remaining to bring the Bucs within a touchdown and then led a seven-play drive following a Cam Akers fumble that culminated in a Leonard Fournette game-tying nine-yard touchdown run.
