Impact Kancey got a late start to the 2024 season, but he now has three sacks over his first four games of the year. If he can keep up his current level of production, he'll force his way into the IDP conversation as the second half of the season plays out.

K.J. Britt - Racks up nine tackles Monday Britt recorded nine tackles (six solo) and one pass defensed during Monday's 30-24 overtime loss at Kansas City.
Impact Despite rotating off the field more frequently than he had in other recent games, Britt still played 45 defensive snaps Monday, and he totaled six-plus tackles for the sixth time in his last seven outings. As long as he holds onto his starting spot, he'll remain on the IDP radar as the year continues.

Vita Vea - Stuffs stat sheet in loss Vea recorded 10 tackles (seven solo) including 2.0 sacks during Monday's 30-24 overtime loss at Kansas City.
Impact Vea added another impressive chapter to his career in Week 9, amassing double digits in the tackle department for his first time as a pro. His two sacks were also his fourth and fifth over the last six games. While it might not always show in the box score quite like it did Monday, Vea remains one of the most impactful defensive players in football heading into a Week 10 tilt versus the 49ers.

Antoine Winfield Jr. - Bucs' leading tackler in loss Winfield recorded 12 tackles (five solo) during Monday's 30-24 overtime loss at Kansas City.
Impact Winfield played a remarkable 82 defensive snaps Monday, his most in a single game this year by a healthy margin, and he somewhat predictably earned a season-high tackle total as well. He projects as a good IDP option in most formats heading into a Week 10 matchup versus the 49ers.

Sterling Shepard - Six touches in OT loss Shepard brought in four of five targets for 48 yards and rushed twice for 21 yards in the Buccaneers' 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Monday night.
Impact The veteran wideout was thrust into a key role with Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (IR, ankle) and Jalen McMillan (hamstring) all out, and Shepard finished second in receptions, receiving yards and targets for the night on the Buccaneers. Shepard's catch total was also a season high, while his yardage tally was his second highest of the campaign. With a short week before Sunday's Week 10 home matchup against the 49ers, Shepard will be ticketed for another expanded role even if McMillan suits up, considering Evans will sit out through the Week 11 bye.

Rachaad White - Scores TD on six touches White rushed three times for 19 yards and a touchdown and brought in all three targets for 16 yards in the Buccaneers' 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Monday night.
Impact White scored his long overdue first rushing touchdown of the campaign on a seven-yard run early in the second quarter, but he was held to a season-low six touches despite the Buccaneers being down Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (IR, ankle) and Jalen McMillan (hamstring). Rookie backfield mate Bucky Irving logged four more carries and the same amount of catches as White, but the workload in the Buccaneers' backfield has been somewhat unpredictable from game to game. Evans will remain out for a Week 10 home matchup against the 49ers and McMillan might be hard-pressed to return on a short week, so White could be due for a bigger role in that matchup.

Impact Irving led the Buccaneers in rush attempts and rushing yards, with backfield mates Rachaad White and Sean Tucker recording just three carries apiece. The rookie was also just as involved as White in the passing game and looked good on his one kickoff return, and his versatile usage was once again a testament to the team's focus on getting the ball in his hands. Irving now has five straight games with multiple receptions, but the unpredictable division of labor in Tampa Bay's ground attack and a tough Week 10 matchup against the 49ers will continue to cap Irving's upside to an extent.

Impact Otton led the Buccaneers across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets, unsurprising given the Buccaneers were down all of Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (IR, ankle) and Jalen McMillan (hamstring). Otton also recorded his fourth touchdown grab of the season on an 11-yard catch early in the third quarter, erasing a 10-7 deficit at the time. Otton now has at least eight catches and double-digit targets in three straight games, and even with a potential return for McMillan in Week 10, the third-year tight end should remain busy against the 49ers.

Impact Playing with a preseason-like receiver corps that was missing Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (IR, ankle) and Jalen McMillan (hamstring), Mayfield put together an admirable performance and came within striking distance of a victory on the road against the defending champions. The 2018 first overall pick battled throughout the night while facing a Chiefs defense that consistently forced short passes, leading to Mayfield's lowest passing yardage total since Week 5 and snapping his three-game streak of 300-yard performances. Mayfield's pair of touchdown tosses went to Cade Otton (11 yards) and Ryan Miller (one yard), the latter coming with 27 seconds remaining to erase a 24-17 deficit. The veteran signal-caller did extend his streak of multiple touchdown passes to six games, but he draws another unenviable matchup against the 49ers at home in Week 10.
