Chase McLaughlin - Productive in high-scoring loss McLaughlin made field-goal attempts of 35, 49 and 55 yards and drilled all four extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 39-37 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
Impact One week after logging just two field-goal attempts and having one blocked, McLaughlin was the other end of the spectrum in terms of opportunity. The high-scoring affair led to McLaughlin racking up a season-high 13 points while connecting on his fourth field goal of 50+ yards this season. McLaughlin has proven quite the find for Tampa Bay, missing just two of 30 total kicks and offering stellar long-range accuracy. McLaughlin could be in for another busy afternoon in a Week 10 home matchup against the Titans.

Trey Palmer - Strong showing in loss Palmer brought in three of four targets for 51 yards in the Buccaneers' 39-37 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
Impact Palmer once again ran behind only starters Mike Evans and Chris Godwin in wide receiver snaps, logging a robust 48 plays from scrimmage. The rookie now has back-to-back three-catch outings, and Sunday's yardage total was a new personal best. Palmer has multiple catches in four of the last five contests overall, pushing him into borderline fantasy relevancy in deep formats.

Lavonte David - Reaches double-digit tackles again David registered 11 tackles (nine solo) and a forced fumble in Sunday's 39-37 loss to the Texans.
Impact David made his presence felt immediately when he forced the ball out of tight end Dalton Schultz that was recovered by Antoine Winfield and set the Buccaneers up in Texans' territory. It was the fourth game in a row that David has registered double-digit tackles in a game and the seventh straight time he has played every single defensive snap. He'll look to help the Bucs snap their four-game losing streak when they return home in Week 10 to face the Titans.

Impact White once again took on a hefty workload on the ground and complemented it with a solid allotment of work as a pass catcher, leading to what was arguably his best all-around performance of the season. The two rushing scores put White over the top fantasy-wise, with the second-year pro finding the end zone on a pair of one-yard runs in the second and fourth quarters. White's secure lead-back role and locked-in receiving volume gives him plenty of appeal at home against the Titans in Week 10.

Baker Mayfield - Solid numbers in crushing defeat Mayfield completed 21 of 30 passes for 265 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and rushed four times for four yards in the Buccaneers' 39-37 loss to the Texans on Sunday...
Impact Mayfield averaged an impressive 8.8 yards per attempt and remained free of interceptions for the fourth time this season while throwing a pair of touchdown passes for the second straight game. The 2018 first overall pick connected with tight end Cade Otton for both of his scoring tosses, which came from three and 14 yards out. Mayfield also narrowly missed a third touchdown on a perfectly thrown 53-yard pass early in the third quarter to Mike Evans on which the receiver was ultimately determined to be down at the one-yard line on instant replay. Mayfield appeared to have led the Bucs to victory with his second touchdown to Otton with 46 seconds remaining before C.J. Stroud capped off a record-setting day with his own late scoring march for the Texans. Mayfield and his teammates will aim to atone for the disappointing loss in a Week 10 home matchup against the Titans.

Impact The nose tackle missed Tampa Bay's Week 8 matchup with the Bills but then practiced in full throughout the week. Vea has played on a majority of the Buccaneers' defensive snaps in the six games he's played in and recorded 21 tackles, including 3.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
