Set to miss start of 2024 Kpassagnon (Achilles) was placed on the reserve/PUP list by the Saints on Tuesday.

Impact Kpassagnon is still recovering from the torn Achilles he suffered in the offseason and he'll now be forced to miss the first four games of the 2024 season. The defensive lineman is eligible to return from the PUP list ahead of the Saints' matchup on the road with the Chiefs in Week 5 on Oct. 7.

Impact Kpassagnon played every regular-season game for the first time with the Saints, as he missed 11 games over the previous two campaigns. The 29-year-old still logged nine fewer tackles than the 2022 campaign when he tallied a career-high 28. Impact Kpassagnon is now slated to remain with the Saints through the next couple of years following his 28-tackle, two-sack 2022 campaign. The 28-year-old will presumably continue operating as a rotational defensive end behind starters Cameron Jordan and Marcus Davenport this coming season.
