Impact In a contest that was widely expected to be a lower-scoring affair, Heinicke ended up authoring a prolific performance that came complete with an exciting game-winning drive. The Old Dominion product averaged a solid 7.3 yards per attempt and displayed particularly impressive chemistry with No. 1 wideout Terry McLaurin, with whom he connected on 11 occasions for 107 yards and one of his touchdowns. Heinicke found veteran tight end Ricky Seals-Jones for a 19-yard score as well, and he made critical completions to Dyami Brown, Adam Humphries and McLaurin on the late 50-yard march that culminated with Dustin Hopkins' game-winning field goal. Heinicke and his teammates will now have a couple of days to savor the hard-fought victory before beginning preparations for a difficult Week 3 road trip to Buffalo to take on the Bills a week from Sunday.
