Impact Brown, who didn't play in Week 4 against the Jets, seems to be headed in the right direction as Sunday's game against the Jaguars approaches. Meanwhile fellow wideouts Julio Jones (hamstring) and Nick Westbook-Ikhine (hamstring) were unable to practice Wednesday. We'll revisit the trio's status Thursday, but in order for Brown to avoid a Week 5 injury designation, he'll presumably need to log at least one full practice by the end of the week.

Impact He apparently hurt his hamstring in the process of setting career highs for snaps (40), targets (12), catches (eight) and receiving yards (74) during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Jets. It was a solid effort from a back who has really only played in clear passing situations this year, but his role still won't lead to more than three or four targets most weeks. There's also a chance McNichols loses some or all of his snaps to Darrynton Evans (IR - knee) in the not-so-distant future.
