Not expected to play Week 10 Coach Mike Vrabel said Burks (concussion) is unlikely to play in Sunday's Week 10 game against the Bucs, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Impact Burks remains in the concussion protocol after slamming the back of his head on the ground in last Thursday night's Week 9 loss to the Steelers. This is at least Burks' second concussion through his first two pro seasons. With Burks likely out for Week 10, the Titans will rely on DeAndre Hopkins, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Kyle Philips and Chris Moore to soak up most of the wideout snaps.

Will be Levis' backup Coach Mike Vrabel announced Tuesday that Tannehill will be the Titans' backup quarterback behind Will Levis moving forward, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Impact The veteran appears to be ready to return from his ankle injury, but he's lost his starting job to the rookie. Prior to going down in Week 6 in London, Tannehill had completed just 62 percent of his throws for 1,128 yards and a meager two touchdowns and six interceptions. Levis has given the offense life as a more willing downfield passer. 2023 is the final year of Tannehill's contract, so there's a real chance he's played his last snap for the Titans. Malik Willis will presumably be the emergency third quarterback.

Will start moving forward Coach Mike Vrabel said Tuesday that Levis will be the Titans' starting quarterback moving forward, Joe Rexrode of The Athletic reports.

Impact Meanwhile, Ryan Tannehill (ankle) will serve as Levis' backup as soon as he's healthy enough to play, per Turron Davenport of ESPN.com. Levis has put together back-to-back productive performances in which he completed 41 of 68 passes (60.3 percent) for 500 yards, four touchdowns and one interception while also running eight times for 13 yards. He'll look to keep up the pace Sunday on the road against the Buccaneers' 31st-ranked pass defense (279.4 yards per game).

Solid numbers in Week 9 loss Levis completed 22 of 39 passes for 262 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and rushed once for two yards in the Titans' 20-16 loss to the Steelers on Thursday night.

Impact Levis went a long way toward proving his Week 8, four-touchdown pro debut against the Falcons wasn't a fluke with Thursday's productive performance on a short week against an aggressive Steelers defense. The rookie showed plenty of grit while taking four sacks and withstanding significant pressure throughout the night, connecting with eight different targets in the process. Levis nearly drove the Titans to a game-winning touchdown late as well before throwing an interception in the end zone with six seconds remaining. Given his body of work over his first two games, it's likely safe to assume there will at least be an internal debate about whether Levis or Ryan Tannehill (ankle) draws the start for a Week 10 road matchup against the Buccaneers on Nov. 12.
