Part of RB committee In the first unofficial depth chart compiled by the Jets' communications department, Coleman is listed as the team's top running back, Eric Allen of the team's official site report... Impact Coleman is followed on the posted depth chart by La'Mical Perine, Ty Johnson and rookie Michael Carter. Allen suggests that the Jets figure to employ a "backfield by committee all season long," and with that in mind Coleman should have a role in the team's backfield from the get-go. However, given that Carter has seen some first-team reps this summer, per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, we expect that he'll also be a key cog in the team's ground game, with his current depth chart standing (behind Perine and Johnson) being something that probably won't parallel his actual role come Week 1.
