Tests positive for virus Watt's placement on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday was the result of a positive test for the virus, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports. Impact The Steelers haven't immediately ruled Watt out for Sunday's game against the Ravens, which suggests he's vaccinated and won't be subject to an automatic 10-day quarantine. Even so, Watt still likely faces an uphill battle to gain clearance for the Week 13 contest, as he'll need to be asymptomatic and test negative on two occasions at least 24 hours apart before he's eligible for activation. At the very least, Watt is in line to miss practice time this week, so the Steelers will have Derrek Tuszka and Taco Charlton pick up extra reps at outside linebacker over the next few days in anticipation of the three-time Pro Bowler not being available against Baltimore.
