Titans promote TE Tommy Hudson to active roster The move comes on the heels of the Titans ruling TE Anthony Firkser out for Week 3.
Back to practice squad Hudson reverted back to the Titans' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction report.
Impact Hudson was promoted to the Titans' active roster prior to Week 2 to provide depth at tight end. He ended up playing 21 offensive snaps, as well as seven on special teams. In the process, he recorded one catch for 14 yards on two targets.

Let go by Tennessee The Titans waived Hudson (toe) from their active roster Monday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Hudson didn't play in Week 1 as he dealt with a toe injury, which allowed MyCole Pruitt to be elevated from the practice squad. The Titans have now made the switch official as Hudson was waived and Pruitt was signed to the active roster. Hudson joined the Titans as an UDFA last season, but he was suspended for the first six weeks of the season for violating the NFL's Performance-Enhancing Substances Policy.
