It's hard to tell exactly where he's at in terms of the probability of playing against New England this Sunday, and there will be major workload concerns if Etienne is active -- not only because of his hamstring but also because Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson got more involved in the offense the past few weeks. In the event of an Etienne absence, Bigsby would be the favorite to start and take most of the carries, with Johnson handling the obvious passing situations. He then played Weeks 3 and 4, taking on a bigger role this past Sunday after Etienne suffered a shoulder injury of his own early in the first quarter against Houston. Etienne returned later in the first half and ended up leading the Jacksonville running backs in snap share (52 percent) and carries (11), but Bigsby made the most of his seven carries with 90 rushing yards, including a 58-yard run in the second half. Limited practice participation to start the week puts both running backs on track to play this Sunday against the Colts.

Bigsby's performance, and Jacksonville's winless record, could prompt the team to shake things up with a backfield timeshare in Week 5 against the Colts, but if he's healthy Etienne still figures to be the Jaguars' top option on the ground.
