Claimed by Jags The Jaguars claimed Johnson off waivers Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Impact Johnson was one of the more surprising roster cuts Tuesday, failing to make the Chargers' initial 53-man team despite posting a 20-398-3 receiving line on 26 targets last season. He's already 25 years old, but even if his development stalls, Johnson could perhaps be useful as a deep threat off the bench. He has a shot to be the No. 4 receiver in Jacksonville, where return specialists Jamal Agnew and Tavon Austin are the other wideout options behind DJ Chark, Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault.
