Lands two-year deal Nwosu agreed Wednesday with the Seahawks on a two-year, $20 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Impact Nwosu appeared in all 17 games for the Chargers in 2021, recording 40 tackles (24 solo), five sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. The 25-year-old should have a chance to carve out a significant role in Seattle's defense in 2022.

Impact It took until Year 4 for the 2018 second-round pick to finally emerge as a full-time starter, and while Nwosu didn't put up gaudy numbers opposite Joey Bosa, the USC product was clearly a difference maker defensively. The 25-year-old will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but given the obvious favor of head coach Brandon Staley and the Chargers' second-most cap space, expect to see the pass-rushing linebacker get a significant extension at some point this offseason.
