Restored to active roster McDonald (illness) has been added to the Steelers' active roster, the Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Impact McDonald returned to practice this week after being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Nov. 10 and now is eligible to suit up Sunday against the Ravens. Through his first eight games this season, he's caught nine passes (on 11 targets) for 61 yards, numbers that keep him off the radar in all but the deepest of fantasy leagues.

However, since McDonald has missed two games after testing positive for the coronavirus and is facing a quick turnaround with the Steelers playing the Ravens on Thursday night, the team could err on the side of caution and make the tight end inactive this week if he still needs more time to ramp up to full speed.

Impact Tomlin also said that McDonald, who has missed back-to-back games, is scheduled to resume practicing Tuesday. The veteran tight end thus is on track to be available for Thursday night's divisional matchup against the Ravens.
