Zach Ertz - Back in Saturday's game Ertz (head) returned to Saturday's divisional-round game in Detroit, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Impact In the first half of Saturday's back-and-forth affair, Ertz was checked for a concussion following a fourth-down connection with Jayden Daniels that eventually resulted in a Brian Robinson touchdown run. Ertz announced his return to the game with a TD of his own just before halftime and will look to build upon his 3-18-1 line on three targets.

Sam Cosmi - Suffers knee inury Cosmi suffered a knee injury in Saturday's divisional-round game against the Lions and is questionable to return.

Impact Cosmi got rolled up on during Washington's touchdown run in the second quarter. He was pinned backward for a few seconds and then had to be helped off the field. Trent Scott took over at right guard in his place.

Zach Ertz - Getting concussion check Ertz is under evaluation for a concussion during Saturday's divisional-round game at Detroit.

Impact With the Commanders facing fourth-and-3 at the Lions' nine-yard line early in the second quarter, QB Jayden Daniels connected with Ertz for a seven-yard gain, but in the process of getting tackled the tight end took hits from multiple defenders and appeared to be banged-up afterward. If Ertz is diagnosed with a concussion, he'll finish Saturday's contest with two catches (on two targets) for 13 yards.

K.J. Osborn - Healthy scratch vs. Detroit Osborn (coach's decision) is inactive for Saturday's divisional-round matchup against the Lions, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

Impact Osborn was also a healthy inactive for last weekend's wild-card win over Tampa Bay. The veteran wideout has played just once since being claimed off waivers by the Commanders on Dec.11. Washington's wideout corps against Detroit will consist of Terry McLaurin, Olamide Zaccheaus, Dyami Brown, Jamison Crowder and Luke McCaffrey.

Jeff Driskel - Serving as emergency QB vs. Lions Driskel (coach's decision) is inactive Saturday and will serve as Washington's emergency third quarterback against Detroit in the NFC divisional round, Zach Selby of the Commanders...

Impact This is a familiar role for Driskel, as he has consistently been inactive as Washington's emergency QB on gamedays. He's gotten into only one contest on the campaign, taking one offensive snap as the backup to Jayden Daniels in Week 2. Driskel won't be able to enter Saturday's playoff contest unless both Daniels and Marcus Mariota become unable to play due to injury, illness or ejection.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. - Inactive again Rodriguez (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Saturday's divisional-round game in Detroit.

Impact As he was in the Commanders' wild-card win at Tampa Bay last weekend, Rodriguez will remain in street clothes Saturday while Brian Robinson, Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols man Washington's backfield.

Jordan Magee - Moved to IR The Commanders placed Magee (hamstring) on injured reserve Saturday.

Impact Magee missed Weeks 17 and 18 due to a hamstring issue but returned to action for last weekend's wild-card win against Tampa Bay. However, he aggravated the injury against the Buccaneers and didn't practice at all this week. With his placement on IR, Magee's season is now over. He finished his rookie campaign with nine tackles (seven solo) over eight regular-season contests while playing primarily on special teams.

Colson Yankoff - Activated off IR The Commanders activated Yankoff (hamstring) off injured reserve and removed him from their injury report Saturday.

Impact Yankoff was designated to return to practice Jan. 8 but didn't play in last weekend's wild-card win over Tampa Bay. He logged a second straight week of full practices this week, and by being activated, he's now eligible to suit up Saturday night against the Lions. A roster spot opened up for Yankoff after linebacker Jordan Magee was placed on injured reserve Saturday due to a hamstring injury.
