Impact Speaking after Friday's practice, coach Ron Rivera said it was an "abundance of caution" that led to McLaurin being held out of the session and added to the injury report. It was actually a hamstring injury that caused his absence, but perhaps just a minor one given Rivera's attempt to downplay it. Still, the timing and missed practice create concern, and fantasy managers should be prepared for multiple scenarios even if McLaurin appears better than 50/50 to suit up ahead of the 1 ET kickoff Sunday.

Impact The final injury report apparently wasn't quite final, with the team updating it after about 20 minutes to list Gibson as questionable rather than with no designation. He's nonetheless expected to continue playing through a shin fracture, just as he did the past two weeks when listed as questionable. Still, cautious fantasy managers should check back in to be safe when Washington releases its inactive list at 11:30 ET this Sunday.

Cole Holcomb - Cleared of injury designation Holcomb (shoulder) has been cleared of his injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Chiefs, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Impact Holcomb played through the shoulder injury during Week 5, so it's no surprise to see him available once again for Week 6. The 25-year-old has 48 tackles through the first five weeks of the season, so his presence will be key for Washington if they have any chance at slowing down Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' high-powered offense.

James Palmer of NFL Network reports that McLaurin is on track to play, but if not, Washington could be left with Brown, Adam Humphries and DeAndre Carter as the regular trio for three-wide formations. First, we'll need to see if Brown and/or McLaurin is inactive ahead of the 1 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.
