Impact Gallman logged double-digit carries and a touchdown for a third consecutive outing during Sunday's victory, while his 4.9 yards-per-carry average from Week 9 marks his best of the three-game stretch (3.5 YPC average Weeks 7 and 8 combined). The Clemson product paced New York's backfield in carries in a run-heavy game script, though he accounted for only 40 percent of the team's total in that category, with seven different Giants contributing to a total of 35 team carries. He and Alfred Morris will continue to head up the Giants backfield Week 10 against Philadelphia if Devonta Freeman (ankle) is ruled out again.

Impact Gallman handled the assignment in Monday's 25-23 loss to Tampa Bay, putting up 62 yards and a TD on 13 touches while playing 43 percent of offensive snaps. Alfred Morris and Dion Lewis took 28 percent snap share apiece, with the former getting eight carries and the latter three targets. Gallman may be the leader of this patchwork group, but the fantasy floor is awfully low when you're stuck in both a committee and a bad offense.

Impact Gallman started due to Devonta Freeman (ankle) being sidelined and handled his expanded role relatively well. The tailback slashed his way to a few chunk plays and provided the punch on a two-yard touchdown late in the second quarter. That gave Gallman a score in consecutive games, putting his stock on the rise ahead of Sunday's game against Washington, although Freeman's status should surely factor into Gallman's eventual outlook.

Impact After Devonta Freeman appeared to pick up an ankle injury on the second drive of the third quarter, Gallman became the featured back and toughed his way to a solid performance. While running room was often at a premium against the Eagles' stingy front seven, Gallman still found his way to a solid fantasy performance courtesy of a one-yard touchdown run and by serving as a reliable safety valve out of the backfield for Daniel Jones. Freeman will have extra time to heal up ahead of a Monday night, Nov. 2 contest against the Buccaneers in Week 8, but if he's unable to go or limited, Gallman appears to be the favorite to take on the bulk of the rushing workload in that contest.
