ImpactPeterson wasn't too busy in his Minnesota debut, as the Bengals targeted a struggling Bashaud Breeland eight times. Peterson doesn't have the same coverage skills as during his prime in Arizona, but he gives Minnesota an upgrade over last year's shaky secondary.

ImpactMcPherson was selected by the Bengals in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and the rookie converted all five of his kicks in his first professional game. The 22-year-old made a 53-yard attempt early in the fourth quarter before drilling a game-winning 33-yard field goal as time expired in overtime. McPherson also made all five of his field-goal attempts during the preseason.
