Mo Alie-Cox - Just one reception SundayAlie-Cox had one reception for six yards on two targets in Sunday's win over Jacksonville.
ImpactAlie-Cox played on 35 of the offense's 64 snaps, but went out for a pass on just 17 snaps. While he ran slightly fewer routes than usual, it was also a game where the Colts emphasized the run. Still, it looked like Alie-Cox was emerging as the top tight end in the passing game over Jack Doyle, but Doyle has six receptions and two touchdowns the last three games compared to two receptions and no touchdowns for Alie-Cox. Since they've both had the typical pattern of playing time, it remains a guessing game which tight end may be a factor in the passing game and red zone.
