James Mitchell - Makes play on ThanksgivingMitchell caught one pass on one target for 22 yards during Thursday's loss to the Bills.
ImpactMitchell continued to hover around a quarter of the offensive snaps, and his only production came on a broken play in which quarterback Jared Goff was able to set up Mitchell for a decent catch-and-run opportunity. Otherwise, Mitchell was a complete afterthought in the passing game as Goff largely looked to his wideouts plus D'Andre Swift all day. Expect more of the same for the fifth-round rookie in Week 13 against Jacksonville.

Brock Wright - Minimal production on three targetsWright caught two of three targets for six yards during Thursday's loss to the Bills.
ImpactDetroit is still not running much of its passing game through tight ends in the wake of T.J. Hockenson's trade to Minnesota. Without much of an athletic profile to fall back on, Wright will be remain a zero-floor, low-upside fantasy option in Week 13 against Jacksonville.

Michael Badgley - First miss of seasonBadgley converted one of two field-goal attempts and both of his PATs during Thursday's 28-25 loss to Buffalo.
ImpactBadgley was 10-for-10 on field-goal attempts before shanking a 29-yard attempt in the third quarter. He somewhat redeemed himself in the fourth quarter by nailing a game-tying 51-yard kick with 23 seconds left in regulation. Now that Detroit's offense is getting back on track after a mid-season, injury-induced offensive lull, fantasy managers could do worse at kicker than Badgley in a Week 13 matchup with the Jaguars.

Justin Jackson - Five touches on ThanksgivingJackson rushed four times for four yards while catching one of two targets for 15 yards during Thursday's loss to the Bills.
ImpactJackson logged double-digit offensive snaps for the fourth straight week despite the availability of both Jamaal Williams and D'Andre Swift. However, Swift's playing time continues to trend upwards as he distances himself from shoulder and ankle injuries that forced him to miss time earlier this year, and Jackson subsequently saw a downtick in playing time compared to last week. While Jackson should remain involved in the offense with Craig Reynolds (ribs) sidelined and Detroit needing to keep Swift out of the injury tent, Jackson's primary value as a fantasy asset remains as the potential early-down injury replacement for Jamaal Williams and his league-leading 13 touchdowns.

Von Miller - Dealing with meniscus tearMiller was diagnosed with a lateral meniscus tear following an MRI on Friday and is expected to have his right knee re-examined in 7-to-10 days, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports...
ImpactMiller was carted off the field after suffering the injury Thursday in the second quarter of the Bills' 28-25 win over the Lions. Though follow-up tests have cleared Miller of an ACL tear, the star edge rusher is still expected to require surgery at some point to address the meniscus injury. After Miller is re-examined next week, he and doctors will decide whether the injury is something he'll be able to play through moving forward while wearing a brace. If Miller hasn't healed enough to play through the meniscus tear upon being re-evaluated, he would then opt for surgery and miss the remainder of the 2022 campaign. For now, Miller looks like he can safely be ruled out for the Bills' Week 13 game against the Patriots, but he could be back as soon as Week 14 versus the Jets if his re-evaluation yields good news.

Dawson Knox - Held to two catches by LionsKnox caught both of his targets for 17 yards in Thursday's 28-25 win over Detroit.
ImpactAfter leading the team in catches and receiving yards during Week 11, Knox wasn't nearly as involved four days later. The 26-year-old tight end has flashed talent, but he's having trouble carving out a consistent role in a Bills offense with plenty of other weapons. Knox has topped 50 yards only twice this season while finding the end zone just twice after scoring nine touchdowns in his breakout 2021 campaign.

Nyheim Hines - One carry on ThanksgivingHines rushed once for three yards in Thursday's 28-25 win over the Lions.
ImpactHines finished fifth on the team in carries, trailing fellow running backs Devin Singletary (14) and James Cook (two), as well as quarterback Josh Allen (10) and wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (two). Buffalo seems to have traded for Hines primarily due to his special teams prowess rather than to use him on offense; Hines added a 26-yard kickoff return in the Thanksgiving Day win.
