Sees action lateColeman rushed three times for 11 yards in Sunday's 41-33 loss to Dallas.
ImpactColeman spent most of his day on special teams, but he was able to take the field late in the contest after the starting tandem of Raheem Mostert (ankle) and Jeff Wilson (ankle) both aggravated their respective ankle injuries. The 27-year-old is averaging a career worst 1.9 yards per carry while dealing with injuries and sporadic playing time this season. Coleman would be lined up to take over early and goal-line work -- with Jerick McKinnon spelling him in passing situations -- if the aforementioned duo are forced to miss Saturday's tilt against the Cardinals. The veteran figures to have limited upside even if he gets the call, as the explosiveness he was once known for appears to have dissipated, or at least been hampered by nagging injuries.

Dealing with high-ankle sprainVander Esch suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's 41-33 win over the 49ers, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ImpactVander Esch underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed the extent of his injury. The Cowboys aren't ruling him out for the Week 16 showdown against the Eagles, but it's tough to see a way that he'll be at 100 percent for the critical divisional matchup. If he's out or limited in that game, Sean Lee will be the main beneficiary. Lee filled in at middle linebacker when Vander Esch exited Sunday.

Big IDP effort in winWilson recorded eight tackles (six solo) and an interception in Sunday's win over the 49ers.
ImpactAfter missing the last two games due to a groin strain, Wilson returned to action and put together another impressive IDP performance that included his first career INT. The second-year safety has 59 tackles, 2.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, plus Sunday's pick, in nine games since moving into the starting lineup in Week 4.

Could return Week 16Gallup (hip) has avoided serious injury and hasn't yet been ruled out to face the Eagles on Sunday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ImpactGallup was forced out of last weekend's win over the 49ers due to a strained hip, but not before hauling in three catches for 26 yards and a score. The third-year pro has seen 35 targets in five games since the Cowboys' bye. If Gallup misses any time, Noah Brown, Cedrick Wilson and Malik Turner will all be candidates to handle more work behind CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper.

Big day in wild winZuerlein converted two of his three field-goal attempts and all five of his extra points in Sunday's 41-33 win over the 49ers.
ImpactHis 60-yard attempt at the end of the first half drifted wide right, but otherwise Zuerlein took full advantage of his largest volume of the season, as the Cowboys scored 40 or more points for the first time since Dak Prescott (ankle) got hurt. The veteran kicker has seen at least three FG attempts in four straight games and six of the last seven, giving him significant upside in Week 16's clash with the Eagles.

Scores fourth TDSchultz caught both of his targets for 14 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the 49ers.
ImpactHe was on the end on a 12-yard toss from Andy Dalton in the third quarter, giving the tight end his first TD since Week 11 and fourth of the season. Schultz has seen only 11 targets over the last four games, giving him limited fantasy appeal heading into Week 16's clash with the Eagles.

One catch in Sunday's winBrown caught one of six targets for 13 yards and added four rushing yards on one carry in Sunday's win over the 49ers.
ImpactWith Amari Cooper being held in check by the Niners' secondary and Michael Gallup (hip) exiting the game late, Andy Dalton found himself looking for other options. The result was Brown's largest target volume of the season, but the extra looks didn't turn into much production. If Gallup is forced to miss more time, Brown could be elevated to the No. 3 receiver role Week 16 against the Eagles.
