Jaleel McLaughlin - Set for increased workloadMcLaughlin is expected to have an increased workload Week 18 against Las Vegas, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

ImpactMcLaughlin actually started at running back over Javonte Williams against the Chargers in Week 17, though Williams ended up with 31 offensive snaps to McLaughlin's 19. Nonetheless, McLaughlin put together the better performance, outrushing Williams 44 yards to 41 despite getting seven fewer carries. The running backs had an almost identical receiving line (3-18-0 for McLaughlin and 3-17-0 for Williams), and both should again play a role in Denver's season finale against the Raiders on Sunday. The Broncos have been eliminated from playoff contention, and with McLaughlin outperforming Williams of late, there appears to be a chance that the former gets the bulk of the workload against in Las Vegas.

ImpactThe Broncos designated Dulcich to return from IR on Dec. 13, but he'll likely stay on the team's injured reserve list due to his multiple injuries. Head coach Sean Payton noted Monday, per Tommason, that the team's medical staff are "working hard" to get Dulcich the strength training to stay healthy. The 2022 third-round pick out of UCLA has played just two games this season, and if he is indeed inactive for Week 18, will finish the year with three catches on four targets for 25 yards.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey - Incredible individual effort for TDHumphrey caught two of four targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-9 win over the Chargers.

ImpactHumphrey made the play of the game in the second quarter when he took a short pass from Jarrett Stidham and proceeded to juke and jive his way past several certain tackle opportunities before dashing towards the end zone and extending the ball past the goal line for a 54-yard touchdown. It was the only touchdown either team would record Sunday, and it would have also counted as the game-winning score if this were hockey after breaking a then 3-3 tie. While Lil'Jordan had the best game of any Denver receiver, it is important to point out that his four targets finished third behind starters Jerry Jeudy and Brandon Johnson. Perhaps Humphrey's impressive catch and run will earn him more snaps and targets when the Broncos visit the Raiders in Week 18.

ImpactEverett surpassed the season high of eight targets that he had seen over the Chargers' last three contests, but he wound up finishing Sunday's loss with the lowest reception and yardage total of any game from that span. The veteran tight end wasn't the only player to struggle for a team that failed to score a touchdown against the now 8-8 Broncos. Everett and the rest of his teammates will look to end the season on a high note if they can upset the Chiefs in Week 18.
