Daniel Brown - Out Week 18Brown (hip) will not play in the Jets' season finale versus the Bills, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
ImpactBrown injured his hip in Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers and was unable to return. He recorded two receptions for 29 yards prior to exiting. The catches were his first of the season. The 29-year-old will now set his sights on the 2022 campaign.

Elijah Moore - Chance to play Week 18Head coach Robert Saleh said Moore (quadriceps) had a good workout Monday and remains a candidate to play in Sunday's season finale in Buffalo, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
ImpactMoore was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Dec. 16, but his ability to take part in a workout Monday suggests he's made a full recovery from the illness. He'll have to revert back to injured reserve and receive a designation for return before he's eligible to resume practicing, which could happen as soon as Wednesday. Saleh said until the Jets have a chance to evaluate Moore in practice, the team won't have a good sense of whether he'll have a shot to play in the regular-season finale. Moore has been sidelined for the Jets' last four games while recovering from the quad injury, interrupting what had been a strong second half for the rookie wideout.

Michael Carter - Concussion confirmedHead coach Robert Saleh confirmed that Carter was placed in the concussion protocol after exiting in Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Buccaneers, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
ImpactCarter got off to a nice start Sunday with three carries for 54 yards to go with a nine-yard reception on the Jets' two scoring drives in the first quarter, but the head injury prevented him from turning in an even bigger performance. According to Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record, Saleh said the Jets are hopeful Carter can clear the five-step protocol ahead of the Week 18 game in Buffalo, so the rookie won't be shut down if he makes good progress in his recovery over the next few days. After Carter departed Sunday, Austin Walter led the backfield with 14 carries for 49 yards, but Tevin Coleman (reserve/COVID-19 list) could step in as the Jets' No. 1 option on the ground if he's cleared to play in Buffalo and Carter isn't available.
