Craig Reynolds - Three carries in season finaleReynolds rushed three times for two yards during Sunday's 37-30 win over Green Bay.
ImpactReynolds was in the starting lineup with fellow tailback D'Andre Swift but both ended up finishing well behind Jamaal Williams in carries. Making matters worse for Reynolds is that he only went on to log five more offensive snaps en route to an unsubstantial stat line. He'll thus finish the season with 55 carries for 230 rushing yards while catching seven of eight targets for 52 receiving yards despite not joining the active roster until Week 14. While he should remain in a complementary role next season considering each of he, Swift and Williams remain under contract in 2022, Reynolds' 26-carry, 112-yard performance in Week 15 at least showed that he can be a worthwhile fantasy option if the Lions ever need him to lead the backfield.

Brock Wright - Scores on trick playWright caught two of two targets for 51 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 37-30 win over Green Bay.
ImpactWright returned from a week off due to COVID protocols and again logged over 70 percent of the offensive snaps while serving as a top tight end in the absence of T.J. Hockenson (finger). While most of his production came on a flea flicker in the third quarter when the tight end sneaked behind the defense for a 36-yard touchdown, the Notre Dame product is continuing to show that he can be a little more than a blocker at the pro level. In total, he will finish the 2021 campaign with 12 catches for 117 yards and two touchdowns on 17 targets despite not seeing regular action until the second half of the year. Considering he will now be an exclusive-rights free agent at the end of the year, Wright is a strong candidate to return to Detroit in 2022 as a depth option behind Hockenson.
