NFL Week 2: Chiefs comfortable winning ugly; what we learned from every Sunday game
Pierre Strong Jr. - Week-to-week with hamstring issueHead coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters Monday that Strong is viewed as week-to-week with a hamstring injury, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
ImpactStrong played 21 total snaps (10 offensive and 11 on special teams), returned one kickoff for 25 yards and rushed once for negative-five yards before leaving the Browns' Week 2 win with a hamstring injury. Expect D'Onta Foreman to work as Cleveland's No. 2 running back behind Jerome Ford while Strong recovers.

David Bell - Won't return in 2024Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters Monday that Bell's hip surgery is season-ending, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
ImpactBell was carted off the field with a right hip injury in the third quarter of Cleveland's Week 2 win, and it now appears the 23-year-old wideout will be forced to miss the remainder of the 2024 season. With Bell undergoing season-ending surgery, expect Cedric Tillman and James Proche to see more work as depth pieces in the Browns' wide receiver room.

Ogbo Okoronkwo - Past head injuryOkoronkwo was cleared from concussion protocol Monday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
ImpactOkoronkwo sustained a head injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win, but it appears he's already moved past the issue. The 29-year-old has yet to record a stat while playing 58 total snaps (37 defensive and 21 on special teams) across two games. Despite a slow start, Okoronkwo is expected to remain one of the Browns' top rotational edge rushers as the team takes on the Giants in Week 3.

Evan Engram - Week 3 status TBDCoach Doug Pederson noted Monday that there's a degree of optimism with regard to Engram's hamstring issue, but acknowledged that it may be a "week-to-week" deal for the tight end.
ImpactThough Engram was not among the Jaguars' initial inactives prior to Sunday's loss to the Browns, he suffered a setback during warmups and was then deemed out by the team ahead of kickoff time. For now, Pederson indicated that the Jaguars will have to "see where (Engram) is this week," but at this stage the tight end's status for the next Monday's tilt against the Bills is cloudy. If Engram is unavailable in Week 3, Brenton Strange and Luke Farrell would once again be in line for added snaps.

David Njoku - Not ruled out for Week 3Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Njoku (ankle), who missed Sunday's 18-13 win over Jacksonville, hasn't yet been ruled out to play Week 3 versus the Giants, Chris East...
ImpactNjoku is considered week-to-week due to an ankle injury sustained Week 1, but the starting tight end could have a chance to return as early as Sunday versus New York at home. Jordan Akins started at tight end Week 2 with Njoku inactive, but he was targeted just once in Cleveland's win over Jacksonville.
