Trey McBride - Enters concussion protocolCoach Jonathan Gannon said Monday that McBride is in the concussion protocol in the wake of Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Lions, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ImpactMcBride endured a helmet-to-helmet hit from Detroit defensive back Brian Branch in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game and had a concussion check afterward. Now that McBride is confirmed to be in the protocol for head injuries, he'll need to complete its five phases, including gaining clearance from an independent neurologist, in order to play again. As a result, his status is up in the air for this coming Sunday's matchup with the Commanders. Tip Reiman, Elijah Higgins and Travis Vokolek are the healthy tight ends on the Cardinals' active roster.

Alim McNeill - Day-to-day with shoulder issueMcNeil is considered day-to-day after leaving Sunday's win over the Cardinals with a shoulder injury, per Jordan Shultz of Bleacher Report.
ImpactMcNeil didn't return to Sunday's contest after sustaining his shoulder injury, but it now appears the issue won't sideline the first-year Lion for too long. McNeil's practice participation throughout the week will provide a better indication of his possible availability for Week 4, as the Lions take on the Seahawks on Monday night.

Marcus Davenport - Out for the yearHead coach Dan Campbell told reporters Monday that Davenport (elbow) won't return this season, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
ImpactThe first-year Lion was feared to have sustained a season-ending elbow injury during Sunday's Week 3 win over the Cardinals, and Campbell's comments Monday confirmed it. Davenport has struggled with injuries over the past two seasons, appearing in just six total games. Expect Josh Paschal to see increased time with the Lions' first-team defense with Davenport sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Derrick Barnes - Out for foreseeable futureHead coach Dan Campbell told reporters Monday that Barnes (knee) will miss "a significant amount of time," Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
ImpactBarnes was carted off during the second quarter of Sunday's win with a knee injury, and following Campbell's comments Monday, it appears Barnes won't be returning to the field anytime soon.
