Dalvin Cook - Deemed day-to-dayVikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that Cook (shoulder) is considered day-to-day, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
ImpactPer Tomasson, Cook has a subluxed shoulder injury, which means it's in and out of the socket. Cook has dealt with this injury in the past, missing Week 13 last season. On this occasion, the Vikings are hopeful that Cook will be able to play through the issue while wearing a harness. However, his activity level in practice this week may provide further clarity on his status for Sunday's contest against the Saints in London. If the star running back is unable to suit up this weekend, Alexander Mattison would be the primary beneficiary.

Harrison Smith - Expects to play SundaySmith has cleared the NFL's concussion protocols and is expected to play Sunday against New Orleans, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
ImpactSmith sustained a concussion during the Vikings' Week 2 loss to the Eagles and was unavailable for Sunday's win over the Lions. However, he should be ready to return following a one-game absence as the Vikings prepare to travel to London to face the Saints in Week 4.

Irv Smith Jr. - Only two catches in Week 3Smith caught two of six targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 28-24 win over the Lions.
ImpactSmith took a step back after breaking out with five catches and a touchdown Week 2 at Philadelphia. He also had another prominent drop after missing on a long potential touchdown pass that hit him in the hands in that game. Third receiver K.J. Osborn led the way with 73 yards and a touchdown against Detroit, and Smith's role likely will remain inconsistent moving forward in a Minnesota passing game with a lot of mouths to feed.

D'Andre Swift - May sit out until after Week 6 byeLions head coach Dan Campbell said Monday that Swift (shoulder/ankle) possibly could benefit by taking the next two weeks off and returning to action following the team's Week 6 by...
ImpactSwift exploded for 175 yards from scrimmage on 18 touches Week 1, but he picked up an ankle injury that has limited him in each of the past two games. He also suffered a shoulder sprain Week 3 that may be more serious than the ankle issue, so it sounds like the Lions are entertaining the idea of shutting the dynamic running back down for a period of time to see if they can get him healthy beyond the team's early bye.

Greg Joseph - Misses both field goals in Week 3Joseph missed both of his field-goal attempts while going 4-for-4 on extra-point tries in Sunday's 28-24 victory over the Lions.
ImpactJoseph attempted two field goals from 56 yards in the contest, missing both of them. The 28-year-old has now gone 3-for-5 on field goals this season and 1-for-3 from 50 yards and longer. Joseph has yet to try a field goal from 30 to 49 yards this year, something that could change in Week 4 versus New Orleans.

D'Andre Swift - May miss time with shoulder sprainSwift suffered a shoulder sprain during Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Vikings and could miss time, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ImpactSwift's injury isn't expected to require surgery, so he's dodged a worst-case scenario, but his availability for Week 4 versus the Seahawks looks uncertain to say the least. The third-year pro entered Sunday's loss already managing an ankle injury. More clarity on Swift's recovery timetable should arrive as the Lions monitor him throughout the upcoming week, but if he does miss time it would significantly improve the fantasy outlook for Jamaal Williams, who scored twice at Minnesota.

Tracy Walker III - Suffers torn AchillesWalker is believed to have suffered a torn Achilles in Sunday's loss to the Vikings, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ImpactWalker went down in the first quarter of the contest with a lower leg injury, failing to return to the game. It has now been determined to have been a torn Achilles, bringing his season to an end after three games. Kerby Joseph appears to be the most likely candidate to take over the starting role at strong safety moving forward.
