ImpactPitre has made in impact just three games into his NFL career. The two interceptions were the first of his career and the sack forced a punt, giving Houston a chance to take the lead in the fourth quarter. The Texans did not take advantage of any of PItre's disruptive plays, but they appear to have found a gem in the second round of the 2022 draft.

Jerry Hughes - More sacks in Week 3Hughes recorded four tackles and two sacks in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Bears in Week 3.
ImpactHughes has his second two-sack game -- he recorded two in Week 1 -- and leads the Texans with four sacks through three games. Other than the sacks, Hughes and the rest of defense have not done a good job stopping the run. The Bears rolled up 281 yards rushing for a 7.0 average per carry. For the season, the Texans have allowed 607 rushing yards and 5.6 per carry through three weeks.

ImpactHoward appeared in line for a greater role after the Texans announced Brevin Jordan (ankle) would not play, but he was challenged by Jordan Akins, who was promoted from the practice squad. Howard was on the field for 18 snaps compared to 17 for Akins, who caught three passes including a touchdown. It's unclear how the tight end position will shake out when Jordan is ready to play again, but it's likely one of Howard or Akins will be back on the outside. After a two-TD effort in Week 1, Howard has one catch (two targets) for seven yards since.

ImpactBrown was limited by a shoulder injury during the week but was able to play a season-high 48 snaps while seeing usage as a receiving option and not just a blocker. Houston's No. 1 tight end has seven catches on 10 targets for 72 yards through three contests.
