Kelvin Joseph - Not close to returnCoach Mike McCarthy said that Joseph (groin) is still a few weeks away from returning, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
ImpactJoseph was placed on injured reserve prior to the beginning of the regular season, so he is eligible to return whenever he proves healthy. He was a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, so he may play a significant role in the secondary upon his return. However, the Cowboys defense has been surprisingly effective against the pass early this season led by the strong play of Trevon Diggs so it remains to be seen exactly how Joseph will fit in.
