Gus Edwards - Could return to practice soonRavens head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Edwards (knee) could return to practice ahead of Week 5, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
ImpactEdwards started the campaign on the resere/PUP list and was forced to miss the first four games of the season. However, he appears to have made good progress with his rehab and could return to practice as soon as Wednesday. J.K. Dobbins has played in both of the past two games, but he continues to be brought along slowly following his devastating lower-body injury. Justice Hill (hamstring) and Mike Davis have operated behind Dobbins, but Hill is expected to miss some time after suffering an injury Week 4, so Edwards' potential return would be perfect timing and could help fortify Baltimore's running back depth.

Justice Hill - Avoids long-term injuryRavens head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Hill (hamstring) didn't suffer a long-term injury, but the running back still will miss some time, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com repo...
ImpactHill rushed eight times for 45 yards before exiting Sunday's loss to the Bills. While the backup running back doesn't have a return timetable yet, Harbaugh said the team feels like it "dodged a bullet." In Hill's absence, Mike Davis is expected to garner an increased role behind J.K. Dobbins, who continues to work his way back to a full workload following a devastating lower-body injury. Per Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun, the Ravens may get Gus Edwards (knee), who's eligible to be activated off the reserve/PUP list ahead of Week 5, back soon, so he potentially could help fill the hole left by Hill's absence.

Charlie Kolar - Won't practice this weekKolar (sports hernia) won't return to practice this week, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
ImpactKolar was placed on injured reserve shortly before the start of the regular season and is eligible to return as early as Week 5. However, the rookie fourth-rounder will need additional time to recover, and it's not yet clear when he'll be able to return to action.

Rashod Bateman - Nursing foot injuryCoach Jon Harbaugh said Monday that Bateman's fourth-quarter absence during Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Bills was due to a foot injury, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
ImpactHarbaugh called Bateman day-to-day and downplayed the severity of the issue, per Shaffer, so it appears that the second-year pro still has a chance of suiting up Week 5 versus the Bengals. The foot injury provides some context to Bateman's three catches (on six targets) for 17 yards, a season-low for him in terms of receiving yardage. Wednesday's first official injury report of the week will provide an update on Bateman's status.
