Ricky Pearsall - No decision yet on return to drillsCoach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that the 49ers haven't made a decision whether or not to open Pearsall's (chest) practice window this week, Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official...
ImpactPearsall has resided on the reserve/non-football injury list since he suffered a gunshot wound during an attempted robbery on Aug. 31, keeping him out of commission for the first four games of the campaign. He's eligible to return as soon as Week 5, but Shanahan appears to be keeping the situation close to the vest. Pearsall resumed working out during Week 2 prep, and he even ran routes on a side field on Sept. 20. With Deebo Samuel only missing one game (Week 3) due to a recent strained hamstring, the team may feel that they have a bit more leeway with Pearsall considering both Samuel and Aiyuk were able to suit up Sunday against the Patriots.

George Kittle - Deemed 'day-to-day' this weekCoach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Kittle (ribs) will be "day-to-day" this week, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
ImpactDuring Sunday's win against the Patriots, Kittle was announced as questionable to return due to a rib injury at halftime, but he was able to join the 49ers offense for the team's first offensive possession of the second half and play out the remainder of the contest. His snap share (94 percent) didn't deviate from his normal workload, and he finished with four catches (on four targets) for 45 yards and one touchdown. Because of Shanahan's comments, Kittle likely isn't in danger of sitting out this coming Sunday versus the Cardinals, but he may endure some practice limitations Wednesday through Friday.

Joey Slye - Nails long field goalSlye made his lone extra-point try and both of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the 49ers.
ImpactSlye's performance came in a losing effort, but it was impressive nonetheless. Before making a 54-yard attempt in the fourth quarter, the Virginia Tech product successfully hit a 63-yard try going into halftime, in what is now the fourth longest-made field goal in NFL history and second longest made outdoors.

Kayshon Boutte - One catch in Week 4Boutte was on the field for 15 of a possible 64 snaps on offense in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the 49ers, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ImpactBoutte, who caught his only target in the contest for 11 yards, remains behind Ja'Lynn Polk, K.J. Osborn and DeMario Douglas in the Patriots' WR pecking order. The 2023 sixth-rounder thus remains an injury or two away from logging steady playing time in the team's offense.
