ImpactPierce has produced through big plays early this season, as he's tallied three catches of more than 40 yards in four games. He got one deep target from Joe Flacco just before halftime against the Steelers, but he was well covered by Donte Jackson and the pass fell incomplete. Pierce will likely have productive games due to his explosive potential, but he'll be an inconsistent contributor.

Jonathan Taylor - High-ankle sprain viewed as mildTaylor was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain after Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers, but it's believed to be a mild version of the injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ImpactTaylor will get additional tests Monday to confirm the diagnosis, but the early news on the ankle injury that forced him out of Sunday's win is relatively positive. This high-ankle sprain isn't believed to be as bad as some of the previous ones Taylor has dealt with. Nonetheless, Taylor may miss some game action, and Trey Sermon would be in line to lead Indianapolis' backfield in Week 5 against the Jaguars if Taylor doesn't play.

ImpactFreiermuth was one of the few things the Pittsburgh offense had going in the first half, as he led the team in targets and yards. Though his usage faded in the final two quarters, this was still a promising performance for him as he managed both his first catch of 20 or more yards and touchdown of the season. Though it hadn't led to significant fantasy success prior to Sunday's matchup, Freiermuth has a clear role in the Pittsburgh offense as he now has at least four catches in all four games on the campaign.
