ImpactMcDaniel said "everything is so far so good" with regards to franchise quarterback's recovery progress, though he noted "the final stages of protocol won't be achieved until we bring [Tagovailoa] back off IR." Tagovailoa won't be eligible to come off IR until Week 8 at the earliest, positioning Tyler Huntley to remain Miami's starter in the interim, including at least for the team's game against the Colts in Week 7. Tagovailoa had initial meetings with neurologists early October and is reportedly symptom free. Assuming his recovery continues to progress without any setbacks, it sounds like the Dolphins will plan for him to return to the starting lineup this season. A clear timetable for Tagovailoa's return to practice remains undisclosed, though.

ImpactMiami managed to scrape to a 15-10 win over the Patriots with Huntley under center in Week 5, but he completed just 18 of 31 passes for 194 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. Huntley's dual-threat capabilities also weren't much of a factor, as he rushed only three times for seven yards. Still, Huntley has looked like the Dolphins' most capable quarterback option with Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) not eligible to come off IR until Week 8. With the benefit of a bye to continue improving his grasp on the offensive system, Huntley will look to command a more productive offense on the road in Indianapolis on Oct. 20.

Jevon Holland - Considered week-to-weekCoach Mike McDaniel said Monday that Holland is week-to-week with the fractured hand he sustained in Week 5, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

ImpactMiami has a bye scheduled for Week 6, which should help to minimize the time Holland is forced to miss as he recovers. If he misses any more game action though, Marcus Maye would figure to be the next man up.

Jason Sanders - Solid in narrow win over PatriotsSanders converted three of four field-goal attempts during Sunday's 15-10 win over New England.

ImpactSanders missed one field-goal try from 41 yards out, but he converted kicks from distances of 54, 47 and 32 yards away. He hasn't been afforded the chance to kick a PAT in three consecutive games. After a Week 6 bye, Sanders and the Dolphins will face off against the Colts on the road.

Alec Ingold - Scores in ugly in over New EnglandIngold rushed once for a three-yard touchdown during Miami's 15-10 win over the Patriots on Sunday.

ImpactIngold scored from three yards out on a fullback drive on his only carry Week 5, only the third touchdown he's scored in his three-year Dolphins career. The fullback also made a key recovery of a botched snap early in Sunday's divisional contest. Ingold will remain a key contributor on offense against Indianapolis in Week 6, though he figures to work almost exclusively as a blocker.

Austin Hooper - One catch SundayHooper was one the field for 25 of a possible 60 snaps on offense in Sunday's 15-10 loss to the Dolphins, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

ImpactHooper wound up with one catch on three targets for nine yards in the contest, while fellow TE Hunter Henry logged 56 snaps while catching two of his four targets for 32 yards. In a time-share that leans toward Henry, Hooper's fantasy upside remains modest.
