What we learned in NFL Week 6: Bill Belichick's clock ticking; Jalen Hurts' pick problem

How long can Bill Belichick and the Pats go on like this? Is Jalen Hurts taking unnecessary risks? Do the Lions have a true No. 1 receiver?...

What we learned in NFL Week 6: Bill Belichick's clock ticking; Jalen Hurts' pick problem
Mike Gesicki - Three catches in Week 6Gesicki caught all three of his targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Raiders.
ImpactWhile the Patriots were without wideouts JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) and Demario Douglas (concussion), Gesicki saw an expanded role in the New England passing attack. He played 36 of the team's 60 snaps on offense, more than doubling up his snap total (17) from the Patriots' Week 5 loss to the Saints. As long as Smith-Schuster and Douglas are able to return in short order and as long as top tight end Hunter Henry remains healthy, Gesicki's fantasy upside will remain modest. Through six games to date, Gesicki has combined for 15 catches (on 20 targets) for 144 yards, while Henry has recorded an 18-183-2 receiving line in that same span.

Jimmy Garoppolo - Set for more tests MondayGaroppolo will undergo more tests Monday to determine the severity of the back injury he suffered in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Patriots, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ImpactGaroppolo was injured midway through the Week 6 win and was taken to a Las Vegas-area hospital for evaluation. According to Schefter, the Raiders are of the belief that it's too soon to speculate about his availability for the team's Week 7 game against the Bears. Brian Hoyer was active as the No. 2 quarterback against New England and came in to replace Garoppolo, but it was rookie Aidan O'Connell who drew the start in Las Vegas' Week 4 loss to the Chargers when Garoppolo was out with a concussion. As a result, it's unclear which of the two signal-callers might be first in line to fill in for Garoppolo should he sit out Sunday.

Hunter Henry - One catch versus RaidersHenry, who was on the field for 37 of a possible 60 snaps on offense in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Raiders, caught one of his three targets in the contest for seven yards, Mike Rei...
ImpactHenry left the game briefly after suffering an ankle injury, but he was able to return. With that in mind, the tight end is a candidate to appear on the Patriots' Week 7 injury report. Over his last two games, Henry (who scored TDs in each of his first two outings this season) has combined for one catch on five targets, and until he starts seeing more consistent looks in the team's passing game once again, he'll remain a hit-or-miss fantasy option.

Tre Tucker - Catches 48-yard deep ball SundayTucker caught both of his targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Patriots. He also rushed once for four yards.
ImpactTucker not only logged a season-high 22 offensive snaps, but the speedy rookie also got behind the Patriots secondary on a 48-yard reception to flip the field on a third-down conversion in the second half. Although Tucker has earned just four total targets through the first five games of his NFL career, fellow receiver Hunter Renfrow was hardly involved Sunday with seven snaps of his own, so Tucker's expanded role behind Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers could stick for the Raiders' road trip to Chicago in Week 7.
