Zach Wilson - Should practice Week 10Head coach Robert Saleh confirmed Monday that the Jets aren't considering placing Wilson (knee) on injured reserve because the quarterback is expected to ready to resume practicing...
ImpactWilson will miss his second straight game Thursday against the Colts while he continues to recover from the PCL sprain of his right knee suffered Oct. 24, and he may face an uphill battle to gain clearance for a Week 10 matchup with the Bills on Nov. 14. That being said, because the Jets believe Wilson will be able to practice less than three weeks after suffering the injury, the team is resisting putting him on IR. In the meantime, the Jets once again will turn to Mike White to direct their offense Thursday after he orchestrated a 34-31 upset win over the Bengals in his first NFL start over the weekend. Saleh wasn't willing to firmly commit to White retaining the job once Wilson is healthy again, even after White dazzled with 37 completions on 45 attempts for 405 yards, three touchdowns and a pair of tipped interceptions in the victory. How White performs against the Colts in addition to Wilson's progress in his recovery from the knee injury likely will dictate which of the two starts for the Jets in Week 10 and beyond.

Corey Davis - Shot to play Week 9Head coach Robert Saleh said Monday that Davis (hip) has a chance to play Week 9 in the Jets' Thursday night game in Indianapolis, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.
ImpactDavis was a late addition to the Jets' Week 8 injury report, as the hip issue first cropped up Thursday and prevented him from practicing Friday. He ultimately was listed as doubtful before being ruled out ahead of Sunday's 34-31 upset win over the Bengals, with running back Michael Carter (9-95-0 receiving line on 14 targets) and slot man Jamison Crowder (8-84-0 on nine targets) serving as the top pass catchers for quarterback Mike White in the absence of the Jets' No. 1 receiver. Because New York likely won't hold any high-intensity practices on a short week, gauging Davis' health could be difficult even if he's listed as a limited or full participant at some point Tuesday or Wednesday. The wideout was listed as a non-participant on the initial estimated practice report the Jets released Monday, per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com.

C.J. Mosley - Leading tackler in returnMosley (hamstring) totaled a team-high 10 tackles (eight solo), including one tackle for loss, in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Bengals.
ImpactMosley's the heart and soul of the Jets' defense, which was drubbed for 54 points by the Patriots with Mosley sidelined in Week 7. The veteran linebacker's excellent anticipation and tackling ability helped limit Bengals running back Joe Mixon to just 2.4 yards per carry, though Mixon still found the end zone once as a rusher and again as a receiver. As long as Mosley avoids any setbacks, he'll likely be able to play Thursday against the Colts despite the short turnaround.

Matt Ammendola - Two short makes, one long missAmmendola made two of three field-goal attempts and both of his PAT attempts in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Bengals.
ImpactAmmendola was nowhere close on a 54-yard attempt in the second quarter, but he made a pair of 24-yard chip shots in the second half. The score dictated that the Jets go for two after each of their last two touchdowns, keeping Ammendola off the field. New York's offense came alive in Mike White's first career start at quarterback, but we'll need to see this level of success turn into a trend before recommending Ammendola for fantasy purposes.
