Enters concussion protocols Head coach Sean McDermott relayed Thursday that Clapp has been out of practice while in concussion protocols, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports. Impact Clapp signed a one-year deal with the Bills in March after spending the last two seasons with the Chargers. He started in 11 of 14 games for the Bolts in 2023, and he is currently slated as the Bills' backup center behind Connor McGovern. Clapp has played 41 snaps (39 on offense, two on special teams) across Buffalo's two preseason games, though he would be forced to miss Saturday's preseason finale against Carolina if he isn't able to pass the league's concussion protocols.
