Impact Tight end platoon mate Hayden Hurst left the game in the first half due to a groin injury, opening up Dissly to tally season highs in route share and targets. Eric Tomlinson and Stone Smartt also played in the absence of Hurst, so it's not as if Dissly will get complete command of the tight end room if Hurst does miss time, but Los Angeles' limited passing tree could involve the Seattle transplant a bit more in the event Hurst misses more time.

Impact Hayden Hurst saw the better side of the tight end platoon this week as the veteran pass catcher tallied 35 snaps compared to Dissly's 20, but it was the latter who actually had the better fantasy day, although by a marginal amount. Neither tight end is in a viable fantasy situation with Los Angeles' preference to run the ball and sit on the clock becoming a theme of the 2024 campaign.

If this type of usage were to continue, it would be difficult to trust Dissly to produce consistently for fantasy purposes. The veteran will have his next opportunity to be more involved in a Week 2 matchup against the Panthers.
