Impact Hutchinson finished tied for fourth on the team in receptions with tight end Cade Stover, while his 39 yards were fourth outright. The wide receiver continues to have a relatively low ceiling in Houston's offense, and he didn't necessarily get a boost from the return of C.J. Stroud in Week 13.

This was the second time in three weeks that Hutchinson did not generate target, but things could change Week 13 if starting quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) returns.

Posts 42 yards in Week 11 win Hutchinson caught three of five targets for 42 yards in the Texans' 16-13 win over the Titans on Sunday.

Impact Hutchinson finished fourth on the team with his five targets, trailing Nico Collins (10), Dalton Schultz (nine) and rookie Jayden Higgins (seven). The third-year receiver now has 24 catches for 264 yards and three touchdowns across 10 games this season. With Collins and Christian Kirk healthy and rookie Jayden Higgins' role growing, Hutchinson doesn't carry much fantasy value headed into Thursday night's Week 12 game against Buffalo.

There's also an opportunity in a Kirk-less offense, as defenses can throw more attention at Collins, who caught just three of nine targets. If Kirk can get on the field for Week 3, then Hutchinson should see reduced target activity and playing time.

Impact Hutchinson benefitted from the absences of Christian Kirk (hamstring) and Braxton Berrios (hamstring) and played 43 offensive snaps (68 percent). That was second most on the club behind Nico Collins (53) and more than the two wideouts selected in the second and third rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft. it's hard to take anything definitive away from the season opener, when Houston's offense and quarterback C.J. Stroud was not operating at peak efficiency. So, good for Hutchinson that he was on the field often, but there were times in 2024 when he was given starter-level snaps, but it rarely panned out to be fantasy gold.
