Impact Lyon has served as Brian Elliott's backups lately. The 28-year-old Lyon made nine saves on 10 shots in a relief appearance versus the Sabres on Wednesday. Once Carter Hart gets back into the mix for playing time, Lyon is unlikely to see much additional NHL action.
