The Islanders rank 26th offensively with 2.60 goals per game, so this looks like a favorable matchup for Lyon.

Impact Lyon is still looking for his first win of the season but is coming off a perfect 15-for-5 save performance in relief of Cam Talbot against the Rangers on Wednesday. In his previous start, also versus New York, the 31-year-old Lyon stopped 24 of 27 shots in a losing effort. If he can put together a strong performance, Lyon might be capable of prying the starting gig away from Talbot.
