Impact Nedeljkovic is eligible to return from long-term injured reserve Sunday versus Vegas. Considering he's cleared for game action in the minors, he may be able to suit up Sunday or shortly thereafter. Magnus Hellberg would likely return to the AHL once Nedeljkovic is activated.

Impact Nedeljkovic won't be an option for the Penguins next two contests but is eligible to be activated off injured reserve ahead of Sunday's clash with Vegas. The Penguins have an upcoming back-to-back against the Hurricanes and Golden Knights on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, which would be a prime opportunity for Nedeljkovic to make his return to the crease. If he can't play, fantasy players can expect Magnus Hellberg to start one of those two games.

Impact Nedeljkovic sustained the injury during Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Dallas. With his placement on LTIR, he'll be out for a minimum of 10 games and 24 days, meaning he won't return until Nov. 19 versus Vegas at the earliest. Pittsburgh currently doesn't have a second healthy goaltender on its roster, so it will need to call up a netminder, possibly Magnus Hellberg, to presumably serve as the backup to Tristan Jarry for Thursday's contest against the Avalanche.

Dealing with lower-body injury Although Nedeljkovic was in net for the entirety of Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Dallas, he sustained a lower-body injury during the contest, per Rob Rossi of The Athletic.

Impact Nedeljkovic attempted to practice Wednesday, but he left before the morning skate's conclusion. He has a 1-1-0 record, 3.00 GAA and .914 save percentage in two games this season. Tristan Jarry might get the home start Thursday versus Colorado regardless, but if Nedeljkovic isn't available then Pittsburgh will need to call up a goaltender to fill in against the Avalanche.
