Impact Gibson exited the Ducks' game versus the Hurricanes on Thursday with an upper-body injury, but it appears that was more of a precautionary measure. While he won't start Saturday, he could be an option for Monday's matinee contest against the Panthers.

Leo Carlsson - Not in lineup Saturday Carlsson (knee) will not play Saturday in Tampa Bay, per Alyson Lozoff of Bally Sports West.

Impact Carlsson will miss his 10th straight game, but he could return to action in Florida on Monday. Carlsson, the second-overall pick in the 2023 Draft, has eight goals and seven assists in 23 games this season.

Lukas Dostal - Starting Saturday Dostal will be between the road pipes versus Tampa Bay on Saturday, Alyson Lozoff of Bally Sports West reports.

Impact Dostal came on in relief for John Gibson on Thursday, after Gibson suffered an upper-body injury in a 6-3 loss to Carolina. Dostal is 7-9-1 with a 3.46 GAA and a .903 save percentage this season. He will face the Lightning, who are 14th in the NHL, averaging 3.26 goals per game.

Impact Silfverberg hasn't lost his place in the Ducks' lineup during the slump, as he still brings some defensive value. He has dropped to the fourth line and could be at risk of losing playing time eventually if his offense doesn't improve. The 33-year-old is on track for a career-worst season -- he has just seven points with 55 shots on net, 16 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 40 appearances.

Benoit-Olivier Groulx - Could see more playing time Groulx was in the lineup for Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes, recording two hits, a blocked shot and a minus-1 rating.

Impact There hasn't been a lot of room for Groulx this season, but he could get more playing time with Trevor Zegras (ankle) out 6-8 weeks. The 23-year-old Groulx hasn't gotten on the scoresheet since October 24, and he's been scratched for 18 of the 35 games since that contest in Columbus. He has one assist, 20 shots on net and 38 hits through 23 outings this season, and if he can fend off Ross Johnston for playing time, it'll likely be in a fourth-line role.

Brett Leason - Pockets assist in loss Leason notched an assist and blocked two shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Impact Leason helped out on an Isac Lundestrom tally in the second period. The 24-year-old Leason has moved around the lineup a bit this season, though he's mainly been in a bottom-six role. He has a career-best 12 points with 49 shots on net, 37 hits, 30 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 35 appearances. Leason is a good fit on a checking line, but he's not productive enough to help most fantasy managers.

Brock McGinn - Registers helper in loss McGinn recorded an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Impact The helper was McGinn's first point since the start of December. He endured a 13-game point drought and missed one game for personal reasons as well as three others as a healthy scratch during the slump. The 29-year-old veteran will have a chance to carve out a more regular role with Trevor Zegras (ankle) out 6-8 weeks. McGinn has just three points with 20 shots on net and 22 hits over 20 appearances this season.

Impact Henrique won a faceoff and Frank Vatrano fired home the Ducks' third goal. This was Henrique's third straight game with an assist. The 33-year-old will likely see steady top-six usage while both Leo Carlsson (knee) and Trevor Zegras (ankle) are on the mend. The ever-versatile Henrique has 22 points (eight on the power play, three shorthanded) with 70 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 40 outings this season.

Impact Terry has gotten on the scoresheet in seven of his last nine games, compiling four goals and six helpers in that span. The 26-year-old will again have to navigate the absence of regular linemate Trevor Zegras (ankle), but Terry has rebounded nicely following a slow start to the campaign. He's up to 26 points, 92 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 38 appearances.

Ryan Strome - Goals in consecutive games Strome scored a goal in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Impact Strome has scored in back-to-back games following a 15-game stretch in which he had just four assists. The 30-year-old briefly dipped down to the bottom six, but he's back on the second line with Trevor Zegras (ankle) for 6-8 weeks. Strome has five tallies, 22 points, 72 shots on net, 57 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 38 appearances this season.

Frank Vatrano - Reaches 20-goal mark Vatrano scored a power-play goal and went minus-3 in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Impact Vatrano has six goals (two on the power play) and an assist over his last nine contests, though his line got caved in by the Hurricanes at even strength. The 29-year-old winger has secured his third 20-goal campaign and his fifth 30-point season in just 41 outings in 2023-24. With Trevor Zegras (ankle) out 6-8 weeks, Vatrano has a chance to pick up some extra playing time and could eventually move up to the top power-play unit.

Isac Lundestrom - Pots first goal of season Lundestrom scored his first goal of the season in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Impact The 24-year-old got the Ducks on the board early in the second period, banging home a rebound just 25 seconds into the frame. Lundestrom had been held off the scoresheet completely in his first four games after joining the roster at the beginning of January following his recovery from an Achilles injury, but an injury-ravaged Anaheim squad needs all the healthy forwards it can get. Lundestrom did score a career-high 16 goals and 29 points in 80 games two seasons ago, so he could provide a bit of secondary scoring in a middle-six role.

Lukas Dostal - Steps in for third period Thursday Dostal turned aside eight of nine shots after replacing John Gibson (upper body) for the third period of Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Impact It was a rough night for goalies, as Pyotr Kochetkov (upper body) also got knocked out of the contest for Carolina. The severity of Gibson's injury isn't yet clear, but Dostal could be looking at a run as the Ducks' No. 1 netminder. The 23-year-old has been playing well of late -- he hasn't allowed more than three goals in a start since Dec. 15, posting a 2.55 GAA and .930 save percentage over his last eight appearances.
