Robert Hagg - Back to AHL Hagg was sent down to AHL San Diego on Tuesday.

Impact Hagg served as an extra defenseman during the Ducks' recent road trip, but they'll be at home on both sides of the holiday break. The 28-year-old's reassignment could indicate that Jamie Drysdale (lower body) may be close to a return.

Urho Vaakanainen - Offers assist Vaakanainen logged an assist in Monday's 4-3 win over the Red Wings.

Impact Vaakanainen has picked up two assists while playing in each of the last five games. With Tristan Luneau away at the World Junior Championship, Vaakanainen has a clear path to playing time into the new year. The 24-year-old Finn is up to six points (all assists) while adding 23 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 24 appearances this season. Now in his sixth campaign, he remains in search of his first NHL goal.

Brett Leason - Produces assist in win Leason managed an assist and two PIM in Monday's 4-3 win over the Red Wings.

Impact Leason has three points over his last four games while taking on a larger role in the Ducks' middle six. The 24-year-old winger spent much of the first two months of the season on the fourth line. Leason is up to nine points, 38 shots on net, 31 hits and a minus-2 rating through 27 appearances. He's still unlikely to produce enough offense to be helpful in standard fantasy formats.

Impact Strome snapped a six-game point drought with the helper. The 30-year-old has clearly been feeling the absence of Mason McTavish (upper body) -- Strome has just one assist over the seven games since his usual linemate has been out. Strome is up to 18 points, 54 shots on net, 46 PIM and a minus-6 rating through 30 outings.

Impact Fowler has three helpers over his last two games, which follows a stretch in which he logged just one assist over 10 outings. The 32-year-old defenseman continues to be the Ducks' top blueliner, though he's taken on a more defensive leaning with the emergence of rookies Pavel Mintyukov and Jackson LaCombe. Fowler has 14 points (seven on the power play), 40 shots on net, 48 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating while averaging 24:32 of ice time per contest through 30 games.

Gibson could be back with the Ducks before Thursday's clash with Calgary, but he won't be in the lineup Monday against Detroit.
