John Gibson - Falls to St. Louis Gibson saved 28 of 31 shots in a 3-1 loss to St. Louis on Sunday.

Impact Gibson surrendered over two goals for the first time in six outings this month. While his record in 2023-24 is now a subpar 4-6-0, he's been excelling for Anaheim, posting a 2.27 GAA and a .926 save percentage in 11 contests. The Ducks just aren't an especially good offensive team -- they're averaging 2.83 goals per game -- so Gibson is likely going to continue to struggle to get wins even if he performs well.

Mason McTavish - Scores in loss to Blues McTavish netted a goal in a 3-1 loss to St. Louis on Sunday.

Impact McTavish ended Joel Hofer's shutout bid at 8:47 of the third period, but the goal didn't lead to a Ducks rally. Still, it's the latest contribution in what has been a great campaign for the 20-year-old forward, who has eight goals and 17 points in 18 contests this campaign after providing 17 goals and 43 points in 80 outings as a rookie last season. Taken with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, this should just be the start of McTavish's time as one of the Ducks' offensive leaders.

Impact Gibson has been outstanding this season, especially of late, as he has won three of his last four games, giving up six goals on 123 shots. Overall, Gibson is 4-4-0 with a 2.19 GAA and .927 save percentage. He is coming off the worst season of his NHL career in 2022-23, going 14-31-8 with a 3.99 GAA and .899 save percentage. Gibson will face the Panthers, who have found the back of the net 50 times in 16 games.
