Yegor Chinakhov - Taken off injured non-roster listChinakhov (back) was activated off the injured/non-roster list and assigned to AHL Cleveland on Wednesday.

ImpactChinakhov sustained a back strain during training camp, but it seems he's now able to play. The 22-year-old had 13 points in 30 contests with Columbus and eight points in seven outings with AHL Cleveland in 2022-23. Although he hasn't done much yet at the top level, Chinakhov was selected with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.

ImpactJohnston found Brett Leason late in the third period for the game-tying goal. The helper was Johnston's first point as a Duck after he was claimed off waivers from the Islanders before the start of the season. The 29-year-old winger has added some toughness with eight hits and nine PIM through six outings. ImpactMcTavish helped out on Ryan Strome's tally in the second period. It's been a productive start to the season for McTavish, who has two goals, three assists and 14 shots on net over six contests. He's also gone plus-2 with 10 PIM -- he'll need to keep the penalties to a minimum if his scoring starts to dip, but he can get away with it as long as he remains strong on offense.

ImpactLeason's tally with 3:47 left in the third period forced overtime. The 24-year-old forward has two points, 11 shots on net, nine hits and five blocked shots over six contests in a fourth-line role. He hasn't been scratched yet, but Leason could be at risk of exiting the lineup sometimes when Leo Carlsson, who is sitting out occasionally during the first half of the season, is in the lineup.
