Adam Ruzicka - Placed on unconditional waivers The Coyotes have placed Ruzicka on unconditional waivers Friday, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.
Impact Ruzicka will have his contract terminated once he passes through waivers. Ruzicka had three goals and nine points in 39 games with the Flames, before he was claimed on waivers by Arizona, where he went pointless in three starts.

Matt Villalta - Returned to AHL The Coyotes reassigned Villalta to AHL Tucson on Thursday.
Impact Villalta was recalled a week ago when Connor Ingram suffered an undisclosed injury. Villalta managed to get into a pair of games -- stopping all four shots in relief of Karel Vejmelka on Feb. 16 and then giving up five goals on 25 shots in a 6-3 loss to Edmonton on Monday. This could be good news for the Coyotes as it appears that Ingram is ready to return.

Impact Brown has played in three straight games after being scratched for five straight contests to begin February. The 30-year-old has displaced Travis Dermott from the lineup. Brown is up to six points, 27 shots on net, 53 hits, 53 blocked shots, 45 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 31 outings. Even when he plays, he's limited to a third-pairing role, and he's generated too little offense to make a splash in fantasy.

Sean Durzi - Registers power-play assist Durzi posted a power-play assist, two shots on goal, three blocked shots, four PIM and a minus-2 rating in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Impact Durzi has a helper in consecutive contests after going seven games without a point. He assisted on a Dylan Guenther tally late in the second period Wednesday. Durzi's slump didn't cost him his spot on the first power-play unit, where he's earned 12 of his 30 points this season. The defenseman has added 89 shots on net, 111 blocked shots, 49 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 50 appearances.

Alexander Kerfoot - Notches assist Wednesday Kerfoot posted an assist in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Impact Kerfoot has two helpers over his last three games. The 29-year-old has filled a bottom-six role lately -- he's been under 15 minutes of ice time in each of the last four contests. Overall, he has 32 points, 72 shots on net, 41 blocked shots, 40 hits and a minus-10 rating through 56 outings.

Nick Bjugstad - Gathers assist Bjugstad notched an assist in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Impact Bjugstad was out of the contest for part of the second period, but he was able to return. He set up a Matias Maccelli tally in the second period to get the Coyotes on the board. Bjugstad endured a month-long cold path with one goal over 13 contests, but he's now picked up three points over his last two outings. For the season, he has 30 points -- his most in a season since 2017-18 -- with 116 shots on net, 84 hits and a plus-2 rating through 56 appearances.

Impact Keller was credited with multiple hits for just the third time this season. Physicality isn't a big part of his game, but offense typically is -- he's picked up seven points over eight contests in February. The winger is up to 22 goals, 30 assists, 164 shots on net and a minus-21 rating through 56 outings overall. He remains a steady presence in a top-line role.

Barrett Hayton - Lights lamp in loss Hayton scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Impact This was Hayton's first goal and second point in eight games since he returned from a hand injury that cost him 32 contests. The 23-year-old center has bounced around the lineup lately, playing on the third line Wednesday. He's at three goals, six points, 46 shots on net, 20 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 24 outings, so he's safe to leave on the waiver wire in most fantasy formats.

Dylan Guenther - Strikes on power play Guenther scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Impact Guenther has three goals and an assist over eight games in February. The 20-year-old winger has done well to avoid prolonged scoring droughts, which has in turn allowed him to maintain a top-six role in recent games. He's up to six tallies, 11 points (four on the power play), 39 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 19 appearances this season.

Matias Maccelli - Scores in Wednesday's loss Maccelli scored a goal in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Impact Maccelli has two goals and two assists over his last six outings. He had just five points in January, so February has been a solid month in comparison for the 23-year-old winger. He's at nine goals, 37 points, 95 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 56 appearances this season, and he's been a mainstay on the second line.

Karel Vejmelka - Allows six goals in loss Vejmelka gave up six goals on 36 shots in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Impact Vejmelka remains winless in 2024, and he never stood much of a chance in this one. The Maple Leafs held a 3-0 lead after the first period, and the Coyotes never pulled even. Vejmelka is down to 6-15-2 with a 3.62 GAA and an .893 save percentage through 26 appearances. He is likely to remain in the starting role at least until Connor Ingram (undisclosed) returns. The Coyotes' next game is in Winnipeg on Sunday.
