Noah Dobson - Notches helper TuesdayDobson recorded power-play one assist and five shots against Arizona on Tuesday.
ImpactDobson leads all defensemen in power-play ice time (2:47 per game) and looks to have cemented himself on the No. 1 unit. In each of the last two seasons, the 23-year-old blueliner has reached both the 10-goal and 35-assist marks and shows no signs of slowing down this year. While Dobson won't be winning the Norris Trophy any time soon, he does figure to offer decent fantasy upside.

Mathew Barzal - Tallies lone goal in winBarzal scored a goal on five shots in Tuesday's 1-0 victory over the Coyotes.
ImpactBarzal snapped a scoreless tie early in the second period, ripping a slapshot past Karel Vejmelka in the opening seconds of an Islanders' power play. It's the first point of the season for Barzal after he tallied 14 goals and 37 points in 58 games in an injury-shortened 2022-23 campaign. The 26-year-old Barzal's opened the year on the Islanders' first line alongside Bo Horvat and Simon Holmstrom while continuing to work on the top power-play unit.

Karel Vejmelka - Hard-luck loss vs. IslandersVejmelka stopped 33 of 34 shots in Tuesday's 1-0 loss to the Islanders.
ImpactVejmelka was excellent Tuesday, allowing just a power-play goal in the second period while turning aside 33 shots. However, the Coyotes' offense could only muster 13 shots as Vejmelka was stuck with the 1-0 loss. The 27-year-old netminder has gotten off to a strong start this season, going 1-1-0 while stopping 66 of 70 shots through his first two games after posting an 18-24-6 record with a .900 save percentage last year. Vejmelka will likely get another chance in goal Thursday when the Coyotes visit the Blues.
