Not practicing Friday Lindholm was held out of practice Friday due to general soreness, Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal reports.
Impact Lindholm's spot on the top line between David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha was taken by Matt Poitras at practice. Coach Jim Montgomery said the move to keep Lindholm off the ice was precautionary. Lindholm had only 15 goals and 29 assists in 75 regular-season games split between Calgary and Vancouver last year, but the 29-year-old has had a couple of big seasons during his 11-year NHL career, including 42 goals and 40 assists in the 2021-22 campaign.

On ice Friday Kastelic (upper body) participated in Friday's camp session, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports.
Impact Kastelic missed the final two regular-season games with the Senators last year due to his upper-body injury but appears to be good to go. With his new club, the 25-year-old center should slot into a bottom-six role. Given his limited offensive contributions, Kastelic will be a relative non-factor in fantasy contests, except perhaps in leagues that heavily value hits.

Signs PTO with Bruins Kaskisuo signed a professional tryout agreement with the Bruins on Thursday, according to Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal.
Impact Kaskisuo last played in the NHL during the 2020-21 season, stopping all three shots in relief of Pekka Rinne in a 5-1 loss to Carolina. The 30-year-old netminder spent last season with AHL Laval, going 7-4-0 with a 2.90 GAA and a .909 save percentage. The Bruins are in need of extra goalkeeping at this time as Jeremy Swayman is a restricted free agent and is not at training camp.
