Mark Kastelic - Sent to Boston The Senators traded Kastelic (upper body), Joonas Korpisalo and a 2024 first-round draft pick to the Bruins in exchange for Linus Ullmark on Monday.

Impact Kastelic is currently set to become a restricted free agent after the 2024-25 campaign but will give the Bruins a cheap depth option for at least a year. The 25-year-old forward tallied five goals and 10 points while averaging 7:43 of ice time in 63 games last season. He'll compete for a bottom-six role in training camp.

Joonas Korpisalo - Traded to Bruins Korpisalo was traded from Ottawa along with Mark Kastelic and a 2024 first-round pick in exchange for Linus Ullmark on Monday.

Impact Just one year after signing a five-year, $20 million deal with the Senators, Korpisalo will now suit up for his fourth team in three years. He posted a 3.27 GAA and an .890 save percentage through 55 games this season. He's expected to take a much lighter role behind Jeremy Swayman, who is currently a restricted free agent.

Impact Bussi posted a 23-10-5 record with a 2.67 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 41 regular-season games with AHL Providence in 2023-24. The 25-year-old netminder doesn't have any NHL experience yet. He will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors, though that could change if the Bruins make a trade involving a goaltender.
